Cordyline fruticosa, commonly known as the Hawaiian Ti Plant, is a vibrant tropical evergreen prized for its dramatic, lance-shaped foliage. Light: Requires bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate partial shade, insufficient light will cause the vibrant colours to fade to green. Avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun which can scorch the leaves.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Use filtered or distilled water if possible, as Cordylines are highly sensitive to fluoride and chlorine found in tap water, which often leads to brown leaf tips.
Temperature & Humidity: It thrives in warm environments above 62F (17C). As a tropical plant, it loves high humidity; misting the leaves or using a pebble tray can help prevent dry, crispy edges.
Soil: Use a well-draining, rich potting mix, ideally with a slightly acidic pH between 6.0 and 6.5
